This article describes the actions available from data points in eSpatial
Clicking on a point will open the info pop up. From here there are several actions that can be performed.
Tools
Clicking on the Tools dropdown will open the Proximity Analysis from a Point options.
Radius
The Radius option will draw a circle (or buffer) around a point or points on the map, representing a distance of your choice. This is created using straight line distance from your starting location. It can be used to find records 'X' miles/KM from the chosen record. e.g. Find all my accounts within 15 miles of my hotel.
Drive Time
The Drive Time option will create a buffer that shows the area you can travel to from a specific location within a given time limit. This is created using road networks, speed limits, and other relevant data. It can be used to find records within 'X' minutes drive from the chosen record. e.g. Find all my new Leads that are within a 90 minute drive from my house.
Nearest
The nearest function allows you to find the 'X' nearest records within 'Y' miles of the chosen record. e.g. Find my 10 nearest opportunities to the account in Dublin, Ohio.
Measure Distance
The Measure Distance option allows you to quickly measure the distance between two or more points, or calculate the area of a polygon.
Zoom
Clicking the zoom option on a selected point will zoom you into a close view of the point regardless of the zoom scale of the map.
Street view
Clicking the Street view logo in the bottom right of the pop up will take you to the Google Street view of the selected point.
